Things to do In Lancaster County, PA – Hunting for Vintage

There are several reasons to visit Lancaster County in Pennsylvania.

One is for delicious Amish “Dutch Country” cooking and

touring the luscious green countryside.

The other is for hunting down vintage stuff.

You hear the American Pickers talk about how much they love picking the East Coast, well, they are so right!

On Tuesdays you can hit Roots (April through October) which hosts a Flea Market, a produce “mall” and a country auction.

(While you are there you MUST get the ice-cream from the outdoor truck that has Wilbur Chocolate added in. Love it!)

But there are many more delectable treats from

Amish stands scattered about.  Baked goods galore! Amazing!

And Hess’ Barbecue! Bring your appetite!

The items you’ll find are interesting and unique!

Be sure to go to some of the indoor vendors as well.

We love the area and it is filled with vintage goodies from farmhouse to industrial styles to the Victorian era

Most of the pieces we find get an update with paint or by repurposing and up-cycling them.

You’ll find hidden gems in our two rooms, filled with all kinds of wonderful vintage stuff!

Then Wed – Sunday stop on in and tell us you were reading our blog!
