This is the kind of home staging project you dream of. Settled in a forest, this house is beautiful inside and out. There were a few challenges, but overall, what a JOY to be given this home to transform.
Sometimes we work with the client’s furniture, and sometimes we provide our own. This home was a mixture of both. Lovely living area with bright sunlight and great lines.
I enjoy the challenges of working with the client’s pieces. This room contains just one of our pieces but many of the accessories were ours. Love the warm tones of the hardwood floor! The photos below show a glimpse into our storage unit with all of the stuff I have to sort through before I even begin.
It’s a lot to go through but luckily I remember what I have and what I’ve used before. In the early stages I do a walk-through consultation of the home with the owner and take notes on what might work in each room before any of this happens.
The color of this room is so soothing! It worked well with our white bedroom furniture.
This room was so charming with the yellow walls. Instead of using yellow or green for the bedding, I chose pink. I added soft greens with the wall art and lamp.
This may be my favorite room. It was empty when we started so it’s like a having a blank canvas! We did borrow a couple of small pieces from the client’s storage but other than that, this is my “fun room.” My vision was to create a space you’d want to entertain in.
I really enjoy my new job as a home stager since the store closed. (And my Denver, CO adventure ended.) We are still painting furniture here and there and have done a couple of custom pieces. I’ll share those in another post. If you’ve gotten this far, THANK YOU!
