We loved staging this sweet cottage! Having a blank canvas gave us much room for creativity.

We used smaller furniture that made a big impact in the living room. The client left these pretty sage green curtains for us and they blended well with our decor.

Using a smaller table helped us to create the space needed for the future home buyers to see how this space could become their own.

We used the blue carpet in this room to play off of. The owner of the home listened to our suggestions during the consultation and painted this room a soft cream which balanced well with our furniture and decor. It is so helpful to communicate with your client exactly what you need to successfully stage their home. Staging a home can produce a minimum of a 10 to 20% higher sale price.and more.

Our style leans toward vintage and in a cute vintage cottage like this, it was perfect. When we first walked into this room it was dark and not very inviting. A huge change believe it or not was simply switching out the curtains. But rule number one, when you have a dark space, bring in a lot of white and bright decor. Works every time!

I would have to say the biggest challenge of this house was the attic space. Being empty and not quite finished, I had to give it a cozy feel. Using the vintage cottage style furniture really fit in well with the look I wanted. By the time we were done we gave the future home owners a chance to envision that this tiny home could contain four bedrooms.

Success! This home sold within the first week and we were thrilled someone found it just as delightful as we did.
